NOTE: We have developed multi-pattern sequential LED taillight kits for over 230 make, model and year vehicles. Our LED kits cannot correct problems or issues within the vehicle’s wiring systems that prevent these basic signals needed for proper taillight operation. Our Cougar taillight kit, or any of our other taillight kits, require the vehicle to supply the LED panels a pulsing voltage signal for turn signals, a constant voltage signal for the brake signal and a constant voltage signal for running lights. For LED lighting to function properly, a Low Current Flasher Module must be installed in place of the traditional turn signal flasher module. The kit is designed to work with OEM tail light housing and lenses as well as aftermarket components. There is no separate sequential lighting control module to mount and wire up. In addition, the kit includes a self-contained microprocessor and circuitry to enable a multitude of sequential lighting patterns. This includes low level running light illumination, brake light illumination, turn signal illumination, emergency flash and back-up lighting where applicable. The kits replace all the functionality of the light bulbs they replace. These kits incorporate high efficiency LED lights that increase tail light brightness, reliability and longevity. It does not store any personal data.The Classic Sequential Tail Light (CST) kits are direct retrofit and replacement for incandescent light bulbs in classic vehicles.
